Garba and Dandiya Raas

Udaipur 4th Oct. 2019 Garba and Dandiya Raas were organized on the auspicious occasion of Navratri at Guru Nanak Girls P.G. College on Friday. Cultural committee Incharge Dr Meenal Kothari said that Garba and Dandiya were organised on the college premises. The chief guest of the programme was Mr Rajendra Kumar Chatur, former Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department. Sardar D.S. Pahwa president Guru Singh Sabha welcomed the chief guest. Prof. N.S. Rathore welcomed secretary Sardar Amarpal Singh Pahwa. The program started by lighting a lamp in front of Goddess Durga. The Girls in the traditional costumes performed attractive and enchanting dances with the tinkling of Garba and Danddieas, the entire Pandal become devotional. Various competitions for girls were organised on the occasion of Navratri, and Nikita Gehlot becomes Miss Garba and Megha Choubisa as the best dancer as per the result.

The chief guest at the program Shri Rajendra Kumar Chatur said that the effort of spiritual practice through dance on the occasion of the holy festival is highly appreciated program president Sardar D.S. Pahwa said that the festival of Navratri brings joy and enthusiasm for all of us.
